November 2004
Well, the last few weeks have been very busy here at InVolo and we would love to take a moment to let everyone know how things have been going.
BISS CH InVolo Seeing Is Believing, "Oliver", went to Tulsa, Oklahoma to participate in the first Papillon Specialty show in the history of that club. He was given the honor of Best In Specialty Show by judge Dorothy Welsh over the top Papillons in the country. This makes him, and his sister "Tallulah", Best In Specialty winners and this is a feat we are thrilled with as they are full littermates. We are so proud of him and his friend/handler Tray Pittman as they are quite the team. The following weekend, he was awarded a Group One under judge Vicki Abbott and showed extremely well in Best In Show. Considering some of the top toys in the country were in this group, and "Oliver" was the youngest dog in the Best In Show ring, we are just beaming with pride and overwhelmed by their accomplishments. "Oliver" is quickly becoming one of the top Papillons in the country as his ranking continues to increase.
Not to be outdone, his sister BISS CH InVolo If They Could See Me Now,"Tallulah", won six more Best of Breeds and received a Group Two and a Group Three on consecutive days. "Tallulah", and her co-owner Gia, are making quite the impression in the ring as they make an excellent team and we wish them both continued success in the ring.
Out of the ring, and not to be outdone by his sister, Michael participated in a Regional Pre-Release Tournament last weekend. This competition was well attended by many top players in the area and he wound up making it to the final four. He was ecstatic as there were over fifty competitors in this single elimination event and he did extremely well in such a large field. He is a very skilled player who always takes the opportunity to help players learn the game.
We would also like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for and look forward to celebrating this wonderful holiday with our loved ones. We thank God everyday for our family and all His blessings.
We are sorry we are late with this month's new. Webmaster Anna's computer is down. We will be adding pictures as soon as Anna is back online. Hurry up, Anna! <G>
October 2004
This is a picture of Gia and CH InVolo Worth The Trip, "Vinceno" or as we affectionately call him "Cenzo." Thought you might like to see the update on their progression in Junior Showmanship. Last weekend Gia and "Cenzo" went Best Junior In Show consecutively on both Saturday and Sunday! This was no small accomplishment as there were over forty Juniors entered each day.

UPDATE: BISS Ch InVolo If They Could See Me Now, "Tallulah" is now a MULTIPLE Group placing bitch. She took a Group Placement the same weekend. As always a big thank you to our Miss Gia for her adept handling. :)

We can't go until we share the picture of the winning duo, Vince Gro and "Romeo", CH InVolo Stand Up And Cheer. This picture commemorates their group placement in Maine last month. A big congratulations to Vince and "Romeo"!

The kids are back in school and we sure do miss them, as the house is so quiet. We look outside and it is hard to believe that yet another Summer has gone by so quickly! One of the best things about living in the North East is the Fall. If you haven't guessed, it is our favorite time of the year! The world changes colors and autumn foliage is just magnificent. Once again, we would like to invite you to stay with us for a bit and share the exciting news we have at InVolo. So, put the kettle on and make some hot apple cider, and we will tell you what has been going on here:
Our most anticipated litter of the year has finally arrived and we are just overwhelmed by her beauty. Of course, we are referring to Jade! Tori and Ron's newest arrival came to us all at 5:08 PM on Monday, August 23, 2004. The little Virgo tipped the scales at 5lbs. 5 oz. and is absolutely gorgeous. Mother and Jade are doing fine and we are so fortunate to be able to finally touch her perfect face. We look forward to the days ahead when she comes home and then visits us. She is the perfect size to be a puppy playmate and we can't wait to see how cute they look together, that is, if the happy grandmother ever puts her down!!
Our two favorite girls, BISS CH InVolo If They Could See Me Now, "Tallulah", and Gia Garofalo, are continuing their winning ways in the ring. These two were flattered and ecstatic to get a Group 2 together. Also, as of June 2004 "Tallulah" is the #1 Bitch in our breed. She is a pleasure to look at and wonderful to be around. We look forward to the fall shows with her as she continues to shine in the ring.

We would like to share with you a picture of the Group Placing, CH InVolo Seeing is Believing, "Oliver". He is pictured with his handler, and his friend, Tray Pittman of Paray Bichons. We are looking forward to a wonderful year with this exciting duo so keep your eyes open!!!

We can not tell you all how proud we are of our CH InVolo Stand Up And Cheer, "Romeo", and his co-owner, Vince Sgro. "These two guys have done so well in the confirmation ring this year! "Romeo" and Vince can now add to their many successes a Group placement in Maine. No small accomplishment for this brand new handler and his best friend "Romeo". We are looking forward to seeing these two, not only in the Best Of Breed class this coming year, but in the Obedience Ring as well.
CH InVolo Reason To Believe, "Joey" finished his championship in three weekends with three Five Point Majors! On the way to his Championship, he won the breed over top specials. He, and his co-owner/handler, Sharon Newcomb, has made us very proud indeed.

CH InVolo Standing Room Only, Ottavia, has achieved an honor that we could have only dreamed for. As of June 2004 she is the top producing Papillon Bitch. She has to her credit, Best in Specialty Winners, Group Placing and Toy Show Winning offspring. To say nothing of the fact, that to know our "Tavi" is to love her. We enjoy her EVERYDAY.
InVolo Could This Be Magic, "Maybe", has started her show career. She is having big fun in the ring, and has picked up a few points along the way. Watch for her there!

Michael has been to two Card Tournaments since we last talked, and placed in the he top ten, this is no small feat in the heavy competition he plays in. We are as always so proud of his accomplishments. Gia has been working on earning her quota of wins so that she will be able to compete in the prestigious Junior Showmanship Competition at the Westminster Kennel Club next February.
Thought you might enjoy these pictures of some of our InVolo Babies. They are cute, but they sure are time consuming as I can sit and watch them play all day. That doesn't help me get any work done around here but what are you going to do!

In case you haven't heard, Proheart 6, a popular heartworm preventative has been recalled. Check out Proheart 6 Recall for more information.
Well that is about it for now! Stay safe and well, hope to see you in October! We have a great Halloween background to share!
