June 23, 2004

Busy lives and full schedules are what the real world is all about these days. We have worked hard to prepare our virtual home and are so glad that you came to visit! Please sit back, cross your legs, pour a glass of ice tea and stay awhile. We hope that you enjoy your time with our family and our pretty little butterflies, we sure do.

2004 has been a very busy year for us at InVolo Papillons!

Tallulah

BISS CH InVolo If They Could See Me Now, "Tallulah" was WINNERS BITCH at the 2004 Papillon Club of America National Specialty, which finished her American Championship.

Tallulah

The very next day she went Best of Breed at the 2004 Papillon Association of Puget Sound Specialty. These wins were even more special because she was shown and handled to perfection at both of these Specialties by our thirteen year old daughter, Gia.

That same weekend, Gia also won Best Junior Handler at the 2004 PCA National Specialty with CH InVolo Worth The Trip,"Vincenzo". This was the second consecutive year that she received this coveted honor. Needless to say, this was a very special weekend for us. Thank you Gia, Tallulah and Vincenzo for memories that will last us a lifetime!

Pete and Gia

We believe that Miss Gia may well be the youngest handler to have achieved the following wins in the history of the breed: Winners bitch at the PCA National Specialty, BOB at an Independent Specialty, PAPS, and even more amazing she and her favorite dog, CH Cadaga InVolo Applause, "Peter", won first award of merit at the PCA National Specialty in 2000, when Gia was only eight years old. Gia also graduated from eighth grade this year and has been a straight "A" student all eight years.

Final line-up

CH InVolo You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, "Lita", won Winners Bitch at the Greater Delaware Valley Toy Fanciers Association on Friday and that same weekend on Sunday she also Won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at The Greater Delaware Valley Papillon Specialty and these wins completed her American Championship. The day "Lita" finished was very special for us at InVolo Papillons as it made our foundation bitch, CH Clearlake Prima At Cadaga a Dam Of Distinction!!!! A point of interest for those who do not know, it takes ten Champions for a Dam of Distinction Title. "Lita" is the only one of these ten Champions that is female as the other nine Champions are males, go figure?

Lita

CH InVolo Worth The Trip, "Vincenzo" was not to be outdone by his Aunt Lita. That very same weekend, he was Best of Winners at the Delaware Valley Toy Fanciers Association Specialty Show and Best in Sweeps at the Greater Delaware Valley Papillon Club Specialty Show. This too finished his American Championship!

Vincenzo

CH InVolo Seeing is Believing, "Oliver" also completed his American Championship in May. "Oliver" was Reserve Winners Dog from the Nine to Twelve Puppy Class at the 2003 Papillon Club of America National Specialty. Currently, he is out on the West Coast in the special's ring, with his handlers and friends, Tray Pittman and Paul Flores, of Paray Bichon Frises. Way to go Baby O!

Oliver

Ch InVolo On A Clear Day, "Carmen" finished her American Championship in May also. Carmen was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the 2003 Papillon Club of America National Specialty. The three litter mates, Tallulah, Oliver and Carmen all won/placed in 2003/2004 Papillon Club of America National Specialties. WHAT A LITTER.

Carmen

When "Carmen" became a Champion she made her dam, CH Involo Standing Room Only, a Dam of Merit and believe it or not, her sire, Kvar Pocket Rocket, a Sire of Merit all at the same time! What a team they all make.

CH InVolo Stand Up And Cheer, "Romeo", Co-Owned with Vince Sgro became an American Champion this Spring also. He finished with a supported entry Winners Dog and Best of Winners awards and several Best of Breeds over top specials! Not bad for Vince's first Champion.

InVolo A Night In New York, "Matteo", went to live with Cindy Crowder and the Amici Papillons. They are living in Deland, Florida. "Matteo will be making his debute down there with his new co-owner and friend!!

Matteo

No news would be complete without the mention of our son, Michael, as he graduated from ninth grade as a straight "A" student in June. Michael is bound for Ohio this June with his friends to compete in another kind of Specialty. He is an avid DragonballZ (Card Game) competitor and is heading for the world championship. We love you and WISH YOU LUCK, Mike!!!!

And we, Michael and I, are expecting our first grandchild this August. We can hardly wait. Hurry up Tori and Ron! Pictures to follow... <ggg>

Thank you for staying to share our memories of 2004. We sure did enjoy having you. We will be updating this site from time to time, so please come on back and see us some time.
